At the end of term we said a very fond farewell to Mrs Loraine Skeldon, who after 11 years of helping to look after our school, decided it was time to unplug her hoover and hang up her duster, in order to spend more time with her family.
Loraine, herself a former pupil of Dean Park, has cleaned and cared for Dean Park for many years, helping to return it each day to some sort of semblance and order (which is no easy task!) and always with grace and good humour.
Each class contributed to a scrap book which was presented to Loraine at a special assembly along with flowers and other gifts.
Loraine will be missed by staff and pupils alike and we wish her all the very best for the future.
